                                Karin’s ESL Party Land for ESL Teachers and students

            I went into the Karin’s ESL Party Land for ESL students and Teachers. I would really use this web site for my ESL students. It shows that it is frequently up dated. The last time it was up dated was on August 5^th, 2001. It is authoritative because it shows an e- mail address of the author of the web site. It also lists some of the awards that this web site won. One award was the Net Work Nugget Selection. It was also chosen as one of the best web sites by the Communication Learning Network. 

This network offers a variety of quizzes for ESL students. They are great because they range from very easy to difficult. It gives students the opportunity to test themselves and actually obtain the percentage immediately after they have completed a quiz. They can start with the very easy quizzes and go on to the more difficult ones. This is a great web site for teachers because all of the quizzes are reproducible. It also offers a variety of topics depending on the lesson you are teaching. For example I am teaching the verb “ to be” in the present tense and I found really good quizzes that I can reproduce and test my students.

            For teachers this web site can be used  to help plan their lesson plans. There are all kinds of lesson plans to choose from. They all state their objectives very clear and they are all very simple to follow. This ESL web site helps you to become a better ESL teacher by providing you with the connection and resources you need to fulfill your students needs. For example you can teach them by using music, videos, internet, etc, etc.
