Following Mendieta’s ideas, Huejotzingo could be the Solomon temple of the Jerusalen Indiana, the capital of the Millenial Kingdom of the Franciscans in the New World. Santiago Sebastian says that in the northern portal of Huejotzingo, is reproduced the doorway of the temple of Solomon. According to the description of the book of Kings, the main doorway of the temple of Solomon was flanked by two columns called Jaquin and Boaz that had bronze capitals in the shape of lillies and a height of four codos (elbows). The book of Paralipomenos says also that the two columns were linked with chains of pomegranates. In Huejotzingo the two columns are linked by a lace that go above the arch, with leaf clusters and swelling buds.
