The sacristy doorway is carved with a marvelous work of tequitqui-mudejar weaving pattern decorated with quincunx-like flowers. It shows a striking similarity to the doorways of the palace of Tetitla in Teotihuacan that feature the same interlaced cord pattern, but with faces of quetzal birds and dogs in the mid-sections.
