Detailed image from the map of Teozacoalco, which shows the upper left hand section of the geographic document. This illustrated section is the most important for its genealogical and historical data, which complements two columns of individuals outside the geographical part. The genealogical and historical data consist of a column of figures (seen in image above) drawn in a vertical fashion. These figures are considered to be column 3 inside the geographical map. Red thick lines indicate roads. These roads are marked with bare foot prints left by the Indians and half circle marks of horseshoes. Top right, a depiction of Rio Verde (Green river) which flows into the Pacific Ocean. Churches are located in diverse places within the circle indicating estancias (Ranches). At the bottom, is a representation of the town of Teozacoalco, into which all roads converge. A church with its tower and belfry and atrio occupy the east side of the plaza.
