| This manuscript is one of the major sources for the study of the early post-Toltec and subsequent history of the Chichimec migrations from Chicomoztoc to the central Puebla region. It treats the emigration of the Nonohualca and Tolteca-Chichimeca from Tula, the conquest of the Olmeca-Xicallanca at Cholula by the T-Ch, emigrations from Chicomoztoc, the founding of Cuauhtinchan, and the later history and wars of the inhabitants of Cuauhtinchan. The period embraced by this history is A.D. 116 through 1544. |
