Pedro de Cordoba wrote a number of epistles to the Spanish Crown and to various church leaders campaigning for protection of the Indians.
On this page Cordoba clearly shows and gives instructions of how this catechism should be introduced to the Indians of the New World. He begins by honoring and glorfying Jesus Christ and his mother. He continues to credit other members of his order for collaborating in such projects (conversion of Indians to Christianity) and reminds them to strictly follow the doctríne very closely.
