| Two ballcourts have been excavated in Tula. One, cleared and restored, is similar to a court at Xochicalco, being of the same size and shape. This Tula court lies across the north plaza from building B and possesses a fine drainage system. It was once faced with panels and friezes but these were carried off by the later Aztecs. Originally stone rings, a feature of Postclassic courts, protruded from the walls, but today only the empty holes for their insertion are visible. |
