| Xochicalco shares many similarities in style with Cacaxtla and Teotenango, the fortified hilltop in the Valley of Toluca to the west. Xochicalco was more subtle in its assimilation than the artists at Cacaxtla. As it turned out, Xochicalco with its own sophisticated eclectic art style survived to be a focus for later cultures. | ||
