The victorious Gulf Coast Mexicans wear Teotihuacan-related warrior outfits and went to battle elegantly attired. The Maya wear many personal ornaments but no clothes. Some bodies were painted blue, a color often associated with ritual sacrifice and offerings. Execution is fluid and surprisingly realistic. Many figures overlap.
