| Stucco portrait of an old person showing decorative nose-piece used to change Mayan profile. Limestone, being the most plentiful, was the principal stone used in ancient Maya sculpture. The tools of the Maya Sculptors were principally of stone, although wooden mallets may also have been used. The principal tools were chisels and hammer-stones. | ||
