| Immediately south of the North Acropolis is the Great Plaza, flanked by two magnificent structures, Temple I on the east and Temple II on the west. Both were built in the Late Classíc period although Temple II takes the form of an enlarged version of Tikal's typical Early Classic architectural style. | ||
