One of the buildings of the Group of the Columns.

In Mitla the ceremonial-civic center of an urban zone of 1-2 square kilometers was constructed of groups that consisted of long, narrow buildings around three sides of a rectangular patio. To the south were the famous cruciform tombs for burial of nobility that extended beneath another patio and structures.
