Many tombs of the Classic-Postclassic periods were found to be painted, and of these, Tomb 104 and 105 are the best preserved. The palette of 104 emphasizes blue and yellow, while 105 has many more red tones, like later Teotihuacan paintings. In tomb 104, each side figure gestures to the niche in front of him, directing the process of offering, and the central cult image seems to rise out of the central niche, as if sustained by the offerings placed within.
